I've seen this O'garlos Shrimp Crackers in Giant Hypermarket's shelves few months back, but just got a chance to try it. This shrimp crackers is produced by PT United Harvest Indonesia. Yup, this snack is local snack and not imported.
In Indonesia shrimp crackers is an everyday food. we eat it as a snack, add it as condiment for bubur ayam (chicken congee), accompanied for fried noodles and also eat it with rice.
O'garlos shrimp crackers is a modern version of "Indonesian" shrimp crackers. Unlike the traditional shrimp crackers that you have to fried it first, O' garlos is ready to eat and have 6 different flavours.
My favourite thing about this snack is their cute packaging - unique material and pastel colour of packaging is catch my attention-. The shrimp crackers come in square shape with a hole in the middle and it has nice crunch texture.
The sweet and spicy seasoning is exactly like others snack I have tried before. It is spicy but still acceptable for my Indonesian tongue.
